American actor and businessman, Robert Redford announced his candidacy for the 1988 presidential election, which was reported in a number of newspapers at some point after November 1985.
After Hector Godrey's two-column story was scrapped due to its anti-Russian sentiment, Seymour David suggested that they run the story about Redford for The New Frontiersman. However, Godfrey dismissed this notion, declaring that he would not dignify the news as credible and sarcastically remarked about anybody wanting "a cowboy actor in the White House."

"The Wicked Witch of the East" - Wicked: The Musical (2003)
Replacing her father as the Eminent Thropp of Muchkinland, Nessarose ruled over her subjects as an "unelected official", where she began stripping them of their rights and freedoms in an effort to keep her unrequited love - Boq - with her. Among these rules, she put in place a complete ban on the Munchkin's abilities to leave her region. Her people soon turned against her, believing that she was just as "wicked" as her sister, the so-called Wicked Witch of the West that was flying around Oz fighting for the liberties of Animals and speaking out against the Wizard's rule.
In a fit of blind rage upon learning that Boq was in love with Glinda and was only in her service due to her being in a wheelchair, something he had been keeping from Nessa since he first invited her to the Shiz University Ball when they were younger, she attempted to use a spell from the Grimmerie to curse him. However, due to her mispronunciation of the magic words, the spell caused his heart to begin to shrink away into nothingness. Realising what she had done, she begged Elphaba to save him from death, mournfully calling herself the Wicked Witch of the East as she pleaded for him to forgive and stay with her. As Boq - now fully sealed within a suit of tin - ran screaming into the night, she blamed and cursed Elphaba that everything that had happened was her fault.
At the suggestion of Glinda, she was used as a pawn by Madame Morrible and the Wizard in their efforts to catch Elphaba, being crushed by a falling farmhouse that was carried across the sky by a twister. The only thing of hers to survive was her silver slippers, which had been recently enchanted by Elphaba to allow Nessa to walk. She died being despised by the people of Munckinland.
Her death dealt a massive blow to both Glinda and Elphaba, straining their friendship to the breaking point. Elphaba would go on to blame herself for this action, declaring that she would not use her magic for any "good deed" as nothing she seemed to do could save losing the people she cared the most for. This pushed her to further take on the moniker of the Wizard's bane: the Wicked Witch of the West.

Doc Dread - Doomsday Clock (2017)
The costumed alter-ego of Bobby Fradon, Doc Dread was a former "super-villain" that fought against Metamorpho using a range of chemical and biological weaponry. In reality, his persona was created by the Department of Metahuman Affairs, who paid him to play that role.
Dread was among three former" rogues"/agents of the Department that publically outed themselves as actors, whose actions were used by the American government to perfect their first lab-created metahuman hero Metamorpho, aka Rex Mason.
Furthermore, he had personal ties with Mason, having grown up together as childhood friends.
Bobby Fradon - Doomsday Clock (2017)
A childhood friend of Rex Mason, Bobby Fradon was hired by the Department of Metahuman Affairs to act as a "super-villain" for the American hero Metamorpho, joining Mason's rogues' gallery as "Doc Dread".
In November 2017, he would be one of three "former enemies" of Metamorpho to go on record with his ties to the DOMA.
"The Prosecutor" - Doomsday Clock (2017)
A meta-positive American citizen, "The Prosecutor" was among the numerous members of Metamorpho's inactive Rogues Gallery to publically go on record as being agents of the Department of Metahuman Affairs.
They were paid by the DOMA to undergo extreme physical trauma in an effort to trigger their metahuman abilities, as well as play the part of "super-villain" for fellow agent Rex Mason to fight.

Seymour David - Doomsday Clock (2017)
Former employee of New York's The New Frontiersman, Seymour David originally found Rorschach's journal sent to them by the masked vigilante before his confrontation with Adrian Veidt at Karnak, transcribing entries of the book in 1986 following The New York City Massacre.
However, shortly after the paper went in circulation, he was brutally beaten to death in his own home in what would be considered by N.Y.P.D and the courts as being a botched burglary attempt by a young thief Roger Jackson.
Yet the case was reopened after The Massacre began being investigated more closely, with FBI searching David's home for Rorschach's journal. Realising that it was missing, authorities concluded that the murder had in fact been premeditated by an unknown assailant wanting to reclaim the journal and ensure that entries about Rorschach's investigation into the death of Edward Morgan Blake remained unpublished.
The crime was reported by Doug Routh in the February edition of the Nova Express in 1987.
Roger Jackson - Doomsday Clock (2017)
A young thief from New York, Roger Jackson was believed to have murdered Seymour David during a "random" burglary that went wrong. With much evidence tying him to the case, he was tried and found guilty for the crime, sentenced to prison.
However, upon further investigation into the case and the realisation that the crime had not been accidental as it was first thought Jackson's guilt was called into question. With these new findings, his attorney and legal team have since begun filing for the verdict to be overturned by the judge on the grounds of this new evidence.
The incident was reported in the Nova Express by reporter Doug Roth.

In 1946, just weeks after the death of The Silhouette, Dollar Bill was shot and killed at point-blank range after his cape got stuck in the revolving door whilst trying to prevent a robbery from happening.
His death impacted heavily on his former teammates, in particular, Nite Owl and Mothman, with the latter consoling himself with even more alcohol than usual.

Simon Stagg - Young Justice: Outsiders (2019)
The C.E.O and majority shareholder for numerous companies, Simon Stagg was an industrialist who created the Branchwater metahuman trafficking ring to ensure that Stagg Industries could publicly compete with rivals, whilst also secretly have them commit industrial espionage on his behalf.
He hired mercenaries Cheshire and Sportsmaster to procure him metahuman criminals, whilst also engaged the Mad Hatter with a proposition, paying him to create a device that would give him complete control over them.
Nightwing believed that Stagg's participation in this scheme caused him to develop paranoia against metahumans, for fear of being subjected to the same crimes he had committed onto others. Wanting to find a way to neutralise metahuman abilities should it be necessary to do so, he discovered the existence of a Metahuman Failsafe that had been salvaged from a Reach warship and was being kept at STAR Labs Detroit for further research. Stagg contracted Cheshire to lead a team to the facility and steal it for him.
However, he was caught red-handed by Miss Martian and Superboy when the Reach device was transported to him via the Shade's ability to open shadow portals. He was arrested by the G.C.P.D after they received an anonymous tip about his companies' illegal activities, leading to his incarceration.

Whilst reading in his prison cell late one evening, Stagg was visited by Shade, who had been freed from Tetch's mind control by Cheshire. Stagg became terrified at the sight of his former victim, trying to back away as the metahuman advanced on him.
Branchwater Security - Young Justice: Outsiders (2019)
A security firm owned by Stagg Industries and several shell companies related to the major shareholder Simon Stagg, Branchwater Security was really a front for a metahuman trafficking ring within America. They were created to help Stagg perform corporate espionage and warfare without any of these dealings being traced back to him.
Unlike the rivalling Markovian Bedlam Syndicate, Branchwater targeted adult metahumans with criminal careers, hiring mercenaries to acquire prisoners that were being transferred to Belle Reve Penitentiary as potential operatives. Also, in their employ was Jervis Tetch, who created nanotech that could remotely control subjects when it was injected into their bloodstream. Tetch placed Clayface, Livewire and Mist under his influence, using the shapeshifter to appear as him and make authorities believe he was complying to the agreement of his parole. He also sent Mist and Livewire to Cheshire to aide her in a job to steal Reach technology from STAR Labs Detroit.
However, due to the combined efforts of the Justice League, "The Team", Nightwing's Team, Oracle, Robin's Team and Batman, the heroes were able to disrupt Brachwater's operation and have Stagg taken into police custody for receiving stolen goods, with Oracle forwarding evidence to the G.C.P.D to ensure he would be charged for his part in the criminal operation.
Although Hatter, Cheshire, Sportsmaster, and the Shade got away, Clayface, Kadabra and Brick were incarcerated in Belle Reve. Mist and Livewire were also invited to attend the STAR Labs funded Metahuman Youth Centre in Taos due to being minors.

Using his powers to manipulate and control the sands of the desert, he managed to free himself and the other prisoners, before setting his sights on ensuring that no other child would be kept incarcerated.
Sandstorm was able to liberate thousands of children from enslavement, taking them with him to Khandaq in response to Back Adam's global message that the nation to the north of the Sinai Peninsula would be welcome to all, as well as offer asylum to the persecuted and oppressed.
However, his desire to leave with children to Khandaq put him at odds with members of the Syrian armed forces, making him a subject of interest by many news outlets and government watch schemes. His powers are believed by the Department of Metahuman Affairs agent David Drake to span across whole deserts, with Drake keeping an eye on Sandstorm for his committal to Black Adam's cause.
Happily using his powers to make sandcastles in the royal gardens of Black Adam's palace, entertaining several children with his demonstration, Sandstorm was interrupted by Black Adam, who personally introduced him to the visiting Superman.

He was reported to have allegedly eaten the criminals alive, although many seemed to question the accuracy of these accounts. Either way, those that the Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man helped to free gratefully cheered and applauded his part in the Doomed's rescue efforts.

She would go on to interact with the other children invited to their playdate, playing with Jennifer Peirce.
Dawn was among those targeted by Prince Orm to kill in his plan to enact The Light's Nuclear Option and have revenge on everyone who allowed him to rot in an Atlantean prison for six years. However, before this could be put into effect, Ocean Master was decapitated and all guests were none the wiser about the attempt made on their life.
She would become an aunt in 2043 when Don became a father to Bart.

Playing with his teddybear whilst his mother watched the news, he jumped up and sped off to answer the door. However, both Don and Dawn were intercepted by Bart Allen, who affectionately referred to him as the "Tornado Toddler." Petitioning to be put down, Bart told him to "stay whelmed," accidentally calling him "dad."
He would play with the other kids who arrived throughout the, happily chasing one of the tornadoes that John Smith created to appease Artur and Jennifer Pierce. Toddling around the room, Bart chased after Don trying to get him to slow down as his powers once again activated.
Don was targetted by Ocean Master as part of his revenge plot against The Light and the Justice League, planning on killing all the attendees in the West-Allen household. His life was spared by Lady Shiva's intervention, killing the Atlantean and ensuring that no one was any the wiser about the Light's Nuclear Option.

She would go on to talk with Bart Allen, Will Harper, John Smith by the fireplace, still holding Jonathan.
Lois and the others were unknowingly saved from assassination by Lady Shiva, who acted on the orders of the Light to execute Orm and ensure that he did not start a war with the Justice League by carrying out their Nuclear Option and murdering League family members.
