Manhattan, New York, November 2 --- On the eve of the election, while he trails behind the polls, President Redford will deliver a speech revealing the alien monster that attacked New York was a hoax perpetrated by “the world’s smartest man” and “humanity’s saviour” – Adrian Veidt. At four o’clock today, the President will unveil the details of a covert investigation dubbed “Operation: Commodus” was so secret, it was run out of the White House and overseen by the President directly.
The final report was turned into the President last night and connects the mysterious and unresolved deaths of writers, artists, engineers, physicists, journalists and even Ozymandias’ former costumed colleagues to Adrian Veidt. In the wake of “The New York City Massacre,” wars ended, political enemies became allies and Veidt stepped into the spotlight.
